of a medical water cure are different according to the country of the group Aquatherma: in France, the cure is paid off by the Social Security, and lasts 3 weeks (18 days of care). In Spain, the cure lasts 15 days, and the coverage is made through the INSERCO, the welfare organization which cofinances the cure with the person having hydrotherapy. In Portugal, cures lasts 14 days at least, and are paid off by the social organisms according to the age (from 10 % to 80 %). In all the countries of Europe, there are also formulae of cure of short or average duration, in no way paid off, which address especially the persons wishing to increase their well-being and to make a break with the stress of the everyday life. In France, we find 12 main therapeutic orientations, numerous resorts propose a double orientation (rheumatology-dermatology, for example), some resorts propose a triple orientation.

or thermal waters. A water cure is based on the action of a natural mineral water collected near the health resort. A water is said mineral when: it arises from a pure natural spring free of any pollution, it possesses a constant content in minerals and it possesses properties recognized as " favorable to the health " by the National Academy of Medicine. Several types of mineral waters were classified according to the rate of ions contained in the water: sulphurized waters, chlorinated waters, carbonic waters, calcic waters, bicarbonated waters. Most of the waters are combinations of these parameters.
