The sport has a very significant part in the life of the visitors of the European spas. For the curists as for the tourists, the sport practices take part in health and holidays.Lakes and rivers, mountains and cliffs, footpaths and sport grounds, all the sports have their equipment here, for practice of sport in open air or in-door according to the season.
 


Hiking

- Walking, riding a horse or a donkey, you can always hike in the countryside of Aquatherma.

Bicycle

- With friends or family, you can ride your bike by yourself or accompanied by a guide; it is the best way to discover unexpected sceneries.

Ski and winter sports

- You can ski not far from the spa resorts in mountain, such as the spas of Auvergne, Saint-Laurent les Bains in Ardèche, Montanejos in Spain.

- One can also ride a traineau with dogs, walk with raquettes or slip on a snow toboggan.

Water sports

- On lakes, ponds, dams and rivers, one can enjoy bathing, canoë, canyoning and fishing.

- Lakes can be found in Auvergne and in Ardèche, dams in Montanejos or Calatayud, rivers in Chaves, everywhere there is fun in the water.

Tennis and the golf

- Tennis can be played in every spa of Aquatherma

- one practices the golf in Vidago in Portugal, in Mont-Dore or in
La Bourboule.


Local sports

- in France, one practises "la pétanque", a game of bowls, mainly in the south.
- in Spain, one practises "la pelote", a ball game
- in some places in the mountain, one finds skating rinks of ice (Mont-Dore).

 

Climbing and paragliding
...................................

- a very important site of rock climbing is equipped in Montanejos.

- Paragliding (known in France, Spain and Portugal as parapente) and delta-plane are practised in Auvergne.
