Situation ............... At 850 m of altitude, 55 km from Clermont-Ferrand, La Bourboule is in the heart of the Sancy mountain. It enjoys a climate of medium mountains, in an abundance of greenery which made it be named "station oxygenates". At the XIXe century, Bourboule was a new city, built all around its miraculous sources. Byzantine palates, odd villas and hotels of luxury rise then in this rural valley of the high Dordogne river. |
