By going above the village of Montaneros, the road curves along a cañyon which is the source of Mijares. One meets there an impressionant site of climbing, where many ways have been arranged.

Further while going up the river, you arrive at the stopping Presa de Arenos. It is a water reserve on the Mijares river. Located at an altitude of 603 m, it has a capacity of 103 Hm3

for a maximum height of 105 m and a flow of 1360 m3 per second. Water thus reserved is channeled in "béalières" which are used to irrigate the cultures located downstream, in particular the many orange groves.
Puebla de Arenosos
...............................

The last village before leaving the province of Castellon is the village of Puebla de Arenoso, a haven of peace far from pollution and noise.

The interior of the hotel Abadia was entirely rebuilt in a traditional rustic style, of wood and stone. The rooms are distributed around a central patio.
