The village

The village of Montaneros, 1 hour driving from Valencia,
shelters 500 inhabitants in winter, and 7000 in summer. Located at an
altitude of 500 meters, it enjoys an average temperature from 8 to 15
°C in winter, 2500 hours of sun per annum, and 60 days of rain.

 The
hotels

The hydropathic establishment, open all the year, receives
about 400 curists per day. With the aim of promote the local hotel trade,
which is abundant and of quality, the hydropathic establishment does not
contain a structure of lodging.
The hotels of Montaneros profited from a governmental subsidy of restoration,
initiated by a Leader project. Moreover, the area of Onda (25 km from
Montaneros), is the first Spanish producer of earthenware and ceramics,
and the restoration drew from this broad range.

Walk from the village by a path surrounded
byrose laurels, then bathe freely in the natural sources of Fuente of
los Banos.

The spring
.................
This spring spouts out at 25 °C, with a flow never
dried up of 6000 liters per minut.
It delivers sulphated, magnesic and bicarbonated water which succeeds
in the treatment of the affections of the skin, the digestive system and
the kidneys.

The sultan Abu-Ceit (XIIIthcentury) made
build at this place "Arab baths" to keep his favorite always
beautiful and young.
