Castellón of Plana is the most septentrional province of Comunidad Valenciana. It has always been able to harmonize its 120 km of coast with an interior undulating and various, so it is the second most mountainous province of Spain with the peak of Penyagolosa of 1812 meters altitude, the roof of Communidad Valenciana. Castellón offers with pride the flower of its orange trees of the littoral and the rosemary of its mountains, configuring a great range of colors and flavours.

Among the tourist possibilities that the villages of interior Castellon offer to their visitors, the landscape is one of most important; let us not forget that the province of Castellon is the second more mountainous of Spain, and that there are emblematic places like:
the summit of the Penyagolosa mount, which with 1813 meters is the top highest of the three provinces of Valencia,
Tinença de Benifassà, where the hayedo is the southernmost of Europe.

Rivers

Rivers Mijares and Palancia, bordered by immense pine forests and many sources, much among them minero-medicinal, the grounds retorcidas of Els Ports and El Maestrazgo.
